Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 GTD (S197)

A personal project exploring the idea of a modern Mustang GTD built on the iconic 2013 Shelby GT500 platform.

This concept combines the aggressive character of the S197 generation with the cutting-edge aerodynamic philosophy of the 2025 Mustang GTD. The entire vehicle was redesigned with a GTD-inspired widebody, revised proportions, motorsport-focused aero elements, and numerous custom details developed specifically for this project.

The goal was not to recreate an existing car, but to imagine an alternative evolution of the Shelby GT500—one where Ford's most extreme modern Mustang design language meets the last generation of the supercharged S197.

Created in Blender 4.2 using a fully custom workflow focused on high-end automotive visualization.
